Alvin Brown declared the winner

Here's the link to the breaking news:    http://jacksonville.com/news/florida/2011-05-18/story/alvin-brown-w...

Lick your wounds, cry your tears, and man up.  We have work to do.

And to the Tiny Union and those who said the Chicago Machine wasn't in town...explain why they were writing about it this morning if it doesn't mean anything.   http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/la-pn-election-tea-l...

Sleep on that one Tiny Union - the Chicago Tribune even reports the news in Jacksonville.

We will talk more tomorrow.  Until then - get a good night's rest and know you did all you could to keep the machine out of town.  Be proud of yourself.

The article was ludicrous.
It was loaded with race baiting.
This election and all elections should be based on directions and ideas
and NOT race.  It type of tripe gave us
Obama.  I am tired of “historical”
results.  We need to save our city, state
and country and quit playing “race” games.

Mike, are you going to have a larger uphill battle against Brown and Brown??

Every one,

I'm in shock.

Well we will now be doing the three-things necessary to run the debt-up more.

1. More foreign aid.

2. Pay-out more to the international banking cartel.

3. Put Duval County Florida and Jacksonville spending more too.

6,247.

Remember that number. Then I must ask, how many of those actually TOOK SOMEONE TO VOTE Tuesday May 17th??

6.247. That is the number of FCTP members. If everyone would have taken someone to vote, reminded JUST ONE to go vote that was your neighbor or co-worker, we would NOT be having this discussion.

IF, just 1/3 of those 6,247 would have taken someone to vote, we would not be having this discussion either.

Winning elections is up to YOU. Not up to someone else or "hoping" that another will do it.

WE can overcome this and do so in short order. Remember how 2010 felt in November?? Remember too, how THIS feels. VOW to yourself and to your fellow Conservatives...

"THIS will never happen again. I WILL get just ONE PERSON to the polls to vote, will ask ONE co-worker to go vote (and TAKE THEM AT LUNCH if needed)."

You beat the machine with each of us making sure JUST ONE goes to vote.

Just a comment - on our way ( Bill Douglas & I ) back to the People's Republic of Illinois yesterday ( 7 am edt) we were listening to WKOV ( 106.5) for as long as we could. And we were disheartened by the fact that ev!erytime they talked about the election  they always mentioned Alvin Brown or had his speaking quotes. Maybe, every third or fourth time they mentioned Hogan. WHAT ? ? ? And where was the FL State Republicans or Nat'l for that matter? Bill got a phone call from Marco Rubio but it was for Kravitz . . .I love my new state of FL, but I have so been there in Illinois. On to 2012 . . .

This was a get-out-the-vote election. When I saw on the 6 p.m. news last night a line of last minute voters stretching forever at Gateway Mall, I knew Hogan was in trouble. What I don't understand is how tonight on the 5 p.m. news (Channel 47) the gap had narrowed by @ 18 votes with @ 1,000 ballots left to count but by the 6 p.m. newscast Brown had won by @ 1,600 votes. I look forward to reports from our Tea Party observers who were there at Gateway today and especially during that last hour. What happened?

I just posted a comment on the older blog about Alvin Brown, but I thought it should be added here. As information, however, when FDR was inaugurated for an unprecedented third term he said: "There are men who believe .... that freedom is an ebbing tide, but we Americans know that is not true." To that, H.L. Mencken's only comment was: "God help the United States." Very appropriate words for the current situation, don't you think? Now my original comment.

“Sunlight is the best disinfectant,” is a well-known axiom from U.S. Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis, and refers to the benefits of openness and transparency in identifying fraud. While I am just a commenter myself, I would like to thank all Tea Party participants for their comments.  Further, the contributions of Billie, JR and JL are especially admirable, perspicacious, and appreciated, and they deserve special thanks!

Perhaps, as many of you, I am concerned about the distinct probability of what many may euphemistically refer to as 'election irregularities', but what I classify as 'election fraud.'  I don't want to see Jacksonville become another Chicago IL, Madison WI, or St. Paul MN; cities that are well known for their election fraud by Democrats!

What I do want to see is the Mayor and ex-Mayors, along with the Councilmen and those who consider themselves our Community Leaders, to assure the citizenry that this election was not fraudulent and that all counted votes, used in determining the winners, were properly verified as legitimate! This is not a flippant matter, and their credibility will be on the line!

Come on! Hogan has some responsibility with the loss too. Not to mention lazy 'citizens' who didn't even bother to vote. All is not lost. We must carry on and keep up the fight. God help us as we help Jacksonville.

If we continue to think that it cannot happen in the USA, we probably thought the same thing about our Jacksonville.

Busloads of people were bused from their homes, to voting precints, fed and taken back to their houses. That was how well organized were Obama's Chicago machine.

We need to wise up, Marxism is here and if we do not wake up we will loose this nation like we lost our country and many others lost theirs.  We need to form strong bonds and make a formidable machine of the Tea Parties.   God Bless America and save her from what is being planned for her.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
