A Special Event -- Please join us -- We Hold These Truths

The First Coast Tea Party is pleased to bring to Jacksonville, Dr. Matthew Spalding, Heritage Foundation Vice President of American Studies and author of "We still hold these Truths.”

He will speak on Saturday, May 21st , 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM about the value of America's founding principles. In the midst of frenzied efforts to remake our nation—of endless government initiatives involved in virtually every aspect of our daily lives—Americans are increasingly concerned: How did we get so far off track? And how can we get America back on course? Matthew Spalding answers these questions by looking to the timeless principles and practical wisdom that have been the source of America’s monumental success.

In We Still Hold These Truths, Spalding explains and brings to life ten core principles that define us as a nation and inspire us as a people—liberty and equality, and the consent of the governed, private property and , the rule of law and constitutionalism, all culminating in self-go... but also reveals their enduring lessons for today.

In a world of moral confusion, and of arbitrary and unlimited government, America's founding principles are our best access to permanent truths and the best ground from which to question the current direction of our nation.

Please see the video below as a preview of his presentation.  It is extremely moving.

Please bring your friends, your family members and most especially, your adult children to this event.  We must inform the next generation of this special gift – liberty.

A speech by Ken Cuccinelli, the Attorney General of Virginia, appears in the latest issue of Imprimis. It presents Dr. Spalding's ideas from a slightly different perspective. It is good reading.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process.
