So the “minister” was not right after all. The Rapture didn’t happen and I’m still here. Dang it!
I had hoped to be walking on the streets of gold this morning – imagine how much they would cost today if God was building them.
I would be living in paradise in a mansion. The mansion would have many rooms. The grounds around it would be filled with lush greenery, flowers, birds chirping and wind chimes tinkling in an ever present soft wind.
My crown would be sitting on the dresser made of the same wood that was used to hang Christ on a tree. The jewels in the crown would be different than my neighbors yet all of ours would be perfect.
From one side of my mansion I would be able to see the ocean as the sun rises; another would have mountains with snow caps glistening from the sun; the other would be forests filled with trees and flowers flowing among them; and the fourth window would give me a view of the city square where God’s throne was sitting and people were swarming all around it.
I would not need a car or high-priced gasoline to get me to the city square. I would just think it and I would be there.
There would always be room enough for everyone at the foot of His throne. No one had to stretch to see him and all of us loved each other and most especially Him. There was no hatred, no worries, no hurt, and no resentment in any of us because the light shining forth from Him extinguished all negativity.
Those of us who could not sing would magically be able to and the sounds coming from deep within us was music never heard before on earth.
I would see my father in the crowd and he would be young looking again as he smiled at me and welcomed me to heaven. My grandmother was next to him and she, too, was young and beautiful and all the pressures of raising three children alone in the Depression were gone. My first baby who left before she was born would recognize me and put her small hand in mine. Molly and Mindy, our precious dogs who we loved as family members, would be right there with us with clear eyes and a youthful wag of their tail again.
My family members who are here today would have joined me too. My grandchildren would be so happy to be back in heaven again so soon.
Angel servants would be preparing to feed us. The tables would be laden with fruits, vegetables, nuts, breads and fish caught in the nets of the famous fishermen of men.
The day would go on and on and love would be in the air. Neither tears, nor pain would ever be a part of our eternal life.
But alas, we’re still here. I knew we would be because God told us no man would know when He would return to take us to heaven. God was proven right once again.
So what now? Back to the grindstone; back to the hurt; back to the ridicule; and back to the worries?
Wouldn’t it be great if we could learn to live as if we were in heaven? Some things such as mansions, crowns, tables prepared with food, and moving from one place to another without transportation may be impossible.
But what is possible is to stand together and hold hands as we sing the music of freedom. Heaven is where freedom reigns forever and it cannot be taken from it. The son of God died on a cross to ensure that would not happen. He came to earth to show us we can have it here, too, if we are willing to do something about it.
His 3 year plan to free man from bondage was this:
So yes I am still here and so are the good guys and the bad guys. We have work to do and we will follow the plan set forth by the One who set us free.
The freedom of American citizens given them by the Constitution and Declaration of Independence is under attack. Socialism – a bondage government – is here. It must be fought with the diligence of all citizens and the message of what's happening must go forth.
America was as close to heaven as you could get on earth. Don’t let it go. If you do, we don’t have any where to go and it’s not time to go to heaven yet.
Don’t let it go.

God's word says that you know a man by the fruits of his spirit, they way he treats his family and friends and strangers on the street, how he spends his money ( has alot to do with how he will spend tax payers money), by the words he speaks ( the language he uses and is his additude negitive or positive ?, is he trustworth or does he lie and does he have morals and values that he can be proud of as representing hisself and his family? (because his will be representing us if he is elected).
we should make every elected official sign a legal document that states everything he promised and that he will do these things or leave office.
a man's word should be of more value than money or gold. i was taught that if a man gives his word then he must keep it, no matter what. if you barrow anything then you take it back in better condition than it was when you got it. be a person that people can trust, respect, and proud of who you are. some how people how gotten away from these morals.
the people we elect should be accountable for what they promised BEFORE being elected. if they can't do the job they said they would do and stand for the people that elected them, then they need to be put out of office and not wait until their term is up, wheather state or federal.
i wish we could vote for two people for the same office, one to do the job and one to take over if he DOES NOT do what he promised. this way they would know we mean business.
the only thing we can do now is pray that the man or woman that got elected do what they need to, to get our government back on track. our children are depending on us because it is their future we are fighting for.
To John: He has done nothing but to prove God's word to be true.....again!
To Everyone: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Geez, these posts just go to show how divided this country is. I think what is being said here is, our country was founded on Judeo-Christian ideals. Many times some of our founders stated that without God and morals, no republic could stand. And history proves it. No, the Tea Party is not a religious group. However, I believe most, if not all of us, honor our founding (on Judeo-Christian principles). The fact that our country is going down the tubes and the tubes are greased by the politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle is evident to most if not all of us. The greed, corruption, etal. is no longer discreet, it is blatant. Without strong morals, strength and wisdom based on Judeo-Christian principles (and I don't care if you are muslim, you can "DO UNTO OTHERS"), the USA is toast.
Attack?
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
