They're here: Chicago is organizing our city

In the movie, Poltergeist, a sweet family made up of a hard working dad, a stay at home mom and three cute children are infiltrated by evil spirits in their home.

They fight to keep the evil out of their home.  They do all they can to protect their children.  At the end of the movie, it is revealed that their neighborhood was developed on top of a cemetery by a crooked, deceitful and opportunistic developer.  The family leaves town and the movie ends with a neighborhood in total destruction.

Yesterday I was in downtown Jacksonville for a meeting.  As I sat at a red light, I noticed a bumper sticker with Alvin Brown for Mayor on it.  Then something else caught my eye – the car had a New Jersey license plate.  The words, “they’re here” rang in my head.

Last week we received a call from a friend in DC who works on the Hill.  The caller said, “Jacksonville was mentioned the other day at a meeting I attended.  It appears Organizing for America (OFA) and MoveOn.org are in Jacksonville.  They are there to help Alvin Brown get elected so Obama can take Florida.”

The call came just as we were getting ready for our 3rd Annual Tax Day Rally.  We listened and put it out of our minds for the time being.  We had a rally to throw and we would deal with that issue afterwards.  The issue would not wait and it showed up at the Rally.

A handful of nasty, mean-spirited and foul-mouthed young people showed up at our Rally.  They stood behind the stage with their pre-made signs, their hats shoved to the side of their heads, texting on their cell phones, and screaming at the Governor as he gave his speech.  You can see some of the pictures at http://tinyurl.com/3o4qkw5

Other tax day rallies across this nation were infiltrated by the likes of these too.  The videos and postings of these infiltrators are so crude and unbelievable that you can’t even imagine this is America.  You must know what we are up against so please watch this video from Oregon Tea Party Rally and then take a shower afterwards and say a prayer for our great nation -- http://tinyurl.com/3mzxh5h

Last night we heard Mike Hogan speak at a meeting.  He has been informed that it is true – the Obama machine is in town.  They have been here for weeks signing people up to vote on the Northwest side of Jacksonville.  They are everywhere and they are drumming up support for Alvin Brown.  They are paying people to go to the polls.  They are paying people to show up at rallies and scream nasty words.  They are paying people to do whatever they tell them to do – that’s the Chicago way.

Do you believe Obama cares about Jacksonville?  Do you believe he has a vested interest in the health of our city?  Do you really believe he is here to help Alvin Brown?

The truth is this – the Obama machine is here for Obama.  They do not care about Jacksonville.  They do not care about the health of our city.  They do not care about Alvin Brown and only care about what he can do for them.

In order to win his second term as President, he must take Florida.  In order to take Florida, he must win Duval County.  If they can get Alvin Brown in the Mayor’s seat, they will have a better chance of taking Duval County.

Our local Mayoral race is a pre-cursor for Obama 2012.   They’re here and they are not nice.

Are we going to let them get away with this?  Just like in the movie, the crooked, deceitful and opportunistic developer ruined a great neighborhood for his own selfish gain.  He didn’t care about the people and he didn’t care about doing the right thing.  He cared about himself and only himself.  Because of his selfish ambitions, the neighborhood was destroyed.  No one won and neither will our city if we allow this to happen.

This is no movie.  This is real stuff, people.  This is what we have been fighting against in DC and now “they’re here.”  Will you fight for your city?  Will you do ALL you can to ensure Chicago politicians do not run or ruin our town?

To help run these Chicago thugs out of Duval County, the First Coast Tea Party is encouraging people to join our project…VOLUNTEER & VOTE = VICTORY

To be a part of this project, contact the campaign offices of Mike Hogan for Mayor.

You can reach them on the web at:  http://hoganformayor.com/joinus.html

Or in person at campaign headquarters:  5501 Roosevelt Boulevard, Jacksonville 32244

Or by phone at:  (904) 374-5894

We also encourage you to get involved with other city elections and the FCTP has endorsed the following candidates:

Dick Kravitz for Tax Collector

Clay Yarborough for City Council, District 1

Matt Schellenberg for City Council, District 6

You can find more information about these candidates and their opponents at www.fctpcommunity.org

Please VOLUNTEER your time, talents and financial resources to help these candidates get elected.  Obama, OFA and MoveOn.org have financed a billion dollar campaign to ensure his re-election.  We may not have billions but we have everything at stake – our homes, our schools, our way of life and our city.  You cannot rely on others to do the job – it will take all of us to fight this machine.

Do it today because “they’re here” and we want to run them out of OUR town on May 17th

Tea Party Patriots, I don't know if you read the blogs on this website, but try to find time to read the blog, "MIKE HOGAN HAS DETAILED PLAN TO CUT $62+ MILLION IN WASTEFUL SPENDING," which provides a way you can help Mike Hogan get elected by use of e-mails and telephone calls on your own, in addition to contacting the Mike Hogan campaign headquarters and offering your services to counteract Obama's highly-organized, aggressive and corrupt Organizing for America political machine and the parasitic, stop-at-nothing national/international labor unions. They can out-spend us, but they can't defeat our reach into the community if we all get involved in the process NOW and continue to do so up to and through all day on May 17, 2011.  Also, remind everyone to get out and vote.  The future of Jacksonville depends on each one of us doing our job.

And, don't forget that E-mail chains and telephone trees are very effective because they spread information exponentially and can be followed up with reminders on the day before the election.

Here is a link to the above-mentioned blog post on the FCTP website.

Thanks for doing your part to help fend off the nationally-organized, well-funded Democrat opposition that has intruded its corrupt actions into our local election process.  We also need to call for an audit of the vote and get as much documentation of the actions of these outside groups in Duval County as can be obtained.  No doubt they will also be providing bus transportation to the polls, as well.  But, it is illegal for them to buy votes and no one can register to vote during the 30 day period before an election.

Thanks in advance for your efforts to keep our elections fair and legal and for doing all you can to get Mike Hogan and the FCTP's endorsed candidates elected.  There are also some at-large candidates in the run-off election, so go to the polls prepared to vote for them as well.  I spoke with Mr. Lumb at the rally on Friday and he is an at-large candidate in the run-off.

And let me encourage everybody to immediately read Andrew Breitbart's new book, Righteous Indignation. I am in the last couple of chapters of it. He does a fantastic job in this book of truly illuminating WHO the enemy is and HOW they work. This is VITAL information for all tea partiers. We must know our opponents if we are going to defeat them. They are getting more and more ruthless because they now realize the "tea party" isn't a bunch of stupid hicks like they thought in the beginning. But the opponents (the liberals) are predictable. We just have to learn what buttons to push. PLEASE get a copy of this book today and READ it!

I spent most of last friday nite speaking one on one with a couple with the union signs. It was frightning in that they were well rehearsed.Examples- the deficit has gone down under Obama really?

The tea party hates B O because he is black--I pointed out that he is white-I pointed out that since blacks make up only 12 % of the population he could not have won without a large white vote for him-

the couple was very rude and mean spirited- I asked if we could meet over lunch or coffee to exchange ideas on how to improve our country well supprise  they were from out of state.I was reminded that this is obama ?Chicago

OFA is organizing across the nation.  We have a big job ahead of us, but we also have no choice if we want to stop the transformation of our great nation.  I have an OFA email account and have been getting many emails looking for volunteers to begin campaigning.  Here are two examples.

Friend --

The President's speech today began a new conversation in Washington about how to reduce the deficit while protecting crucial investments in our country's future.

But as we seek to build an organization based outside of Washington, President Obama's speech also provides an unusually stark contrast -- one all of us can use to start conversations with our friends and neighbors about what's at stake in this election.

He spoke about things you don't generally hear in Washington conversations too often dominated by special interests: He'll cut waste and excess at the Pentagon -- particularly spending that is requested not by our military, but by politicians and corporate interests.

He'll eliminate tax cuts for Americans in the highest tax brackets who don't need them, including himself -- and he will reform the individual tax code so that it's fair and simple and so that the amount of taxes you pay isn't determined by what kind of accountant you can afford.

Some cuts he proposed are tough. But they're also smart and surgical -- helping us balance our books while still doing the right things to win the future. President Obama's plan would protect the middle class, invest in our kids' education, and make sure we don't protect the wealthiest Americans from the costs of reform at the expense of the most vulnerable.

The other side has presented a very clear alternative: End Medicare as we know it, privatizing the program that millions of seniors rely on for health care. Make deep cuts to education. Slash investments in clean energy and infrastructure. All to pay for tax cuts for people making over $250,000 a year, and all while actually raising our national debt.

In short, their plan will please a special interest donor base and those who put ideology before results rather than reduce deficits over the long term. And let's be clear: They think they can get away with it because, fundamentally, they don't think you'll do anything about it.

That's where I know we can prove them wrong. Because we can respond right now by building an organization that will stop them -- not just in this deficit battle, but in the next election so they never have the chance to enact these proposals.

Here's the first step. Join our fight for a deficit reduction plan that will actually reduce the deficit -- with a goal of shared prosperity through shared responsibility. Add your name to support President Obama's plan -- and then help bring more people into the conversation:

http:my.barackobama.com/Deficit-Plan

President Obama made a promise in his speech today. He said that we won't have to sacrifice programs like Medicaid and Social Security -- programs that millions of Americans rely on -- as long as he's President. He's committed to seeking serious solutions to the problems we face while still upholding the larger responsibilities we have to one another. So it's our job to build the organization that's going to keep him in the White House.

Please add your name in this crucial moment -- and then reach out to your friends and neighbors.

More soon,

Messina

Friend --

Next year, President Obama will join thousands of other Democrats on ballots in all 50 states.

These next 19 months will provide some of the best opportunities for community organizing that this movement has ever seen -- and we're looking for a few more folks to join the Summer Organizer Program and take the lead.

From June 4th to August 6th, summer organizers will help lay the groundwork for 2012 across the country, planning events, registering voters, and building neighborhood teams.

These organizers are the future leaders of this movement -- will you be one of them?

If you haven't already, apply here by Monday, April 18th, or pass this message along to anyone else who might be interested.

If selected, you'll hit the ground running with top-notch training to learn how to recruit new volunteers, manage resources wisely, and run an efficient operation.

Then you'll get to work in the states. Maybe you'll run a local strategy session in Philadelphia. Maybe you'll register voters at a concert in Las Vegas. Maybe you'll empower a supporter to become a team leader in Dallas.

Or maybe you'll help fire up a big crowd before the President takes the stage.

No experience is necessary, and anyone can apply -- but you need to do so by midnight on Monday, April 18th:

See you out there,

I have seen several young, folks with clipboards in the downtown area for several days. The Obama machine will prostitute our voting system, this is what they do, use the system aginst their oponent.

Brown is like Obama, "what has he done? who is pulling the strings?

It is time to end early voting!

Thank you for this information.  I had already had concerns with Mr. Brown due to some of his previous associates.  This confirms it.  Will Mr. Brown acknowledge where his support is coming from since he claims to be a conservative Democrat?  How can we get the news media to expose what is going on?

Billie, I hope people listen to this message!  You are exactly right, they are here and they are organized.  One strategy they used in the last election, during early voting on Sundays they would have buses pick up parishioners and take them directly to the polls after church.  During early voting you can vote in any precinct.  I would suspect this is going happen when early voting opens on May 2nd.

No matter who you are or what party you belong to, now is the time for "freedom" loving Americans to stand together.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
