This morning I read about how we need to form a third party because the other two are so bad. Yea, I agree both parties are pretty bad. The Democrats have become Marxist and the Republicans are so busy filling their pockets and kissing the Marxist butts to get their share, the people don't have a chance.

So what happened to government by the people for the people, and how will yet another party change anything? I say it is not the parties that are to blame but the people themselves.

Government by the people for the people means the people have to be involved for the "by" to work. This doesn't just mean taking the half hour out of your busy day to cast a vote for the name you heard on a political ad while watching your favorite show.

You can start all the third or fourth parties you want and the problems are still there sitting on the couches of America. I hear a lot of frustration with what is going on in our country and I see maybe 20% of the people even in our organization that are willing to dedicate themselves to actually doing something about it. This is even though 100% are scared out of their minds with what is going on in the country today.

I don't think this is all laziness on the part of the 80% but disbelief that the effort is worth the trouble or that it will work. They want to hear things are going to get better and they want to feel the joy of being with like minded people at an event, but in truth they just don't believe a difference can be made.

Third Parties are sort of like that. At first you have the excitement that this is going to work and many come on board, they cheer and get fired up and then their candidate looses. Most everyone goes home and sits on the couch occasionally screaming at the TV. I know I have been there and done that. I have also been frustrated with the Tea Party and I have asked myself a thousand times, what are we actually doing that will make a change.

The only answer I keep coming back to is motivation and cutting through the confusion about what to do. The motivation is the easy part; the present administration has the country scared to death and rightfully so. The direction is another matter because that seems to be the biggest point of contention with all the Tea Parties except for one thing. Third parties are the Bain of making any real change and will give another false hope of fast solutions. There are no fast solutions and divorcing ourselves from organizations that have for years cried for our input and help, only leaves us outside the system.

Granted there are some serious problems with the parties but the fact is; the structure is there ready and waiting and what has been missing is you and me. How many Tea Party attendees have ever been on an executive committee? (For those that don't know these are the local party committees that all you have too do is show up for and you are a voting member) How many have worked in a campaign? Given money to a candidate?

Yes, everyone is angry, and we all want things to change, but the quick easy answers aren't there, but the solutions are. Get on an executive committee, become a voting member whether you are Democrat or Republican. Say who will get the support and what policy will be along with millions of other Tea Party members you can make a difference. Not everyone can run for office and the few that have, have gotten damn little support from the Tea Parties. We seem to trust no one but ourselves so let’s get ourselves in the easiest political office there is to get elected to. Get on an executive committee, have an insider vote and if you read this and don't--- then I don't want to hear you say anything about what is going on in our nation today and I certainly don’t want to hear any nonsense about a third party making a difference—the difference is you.

You're exactly right! I am tired of hearing people sit on the sidelines and complain, yet when asked to get involved they quickly retreat. The health of our nation and our future has never been more threatened. This is a "Horton Hears a Who" moment, every voice no matter how small is needed in this fight.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
