It’s 4:00 AM and after tossing and turning since 3:15, I finally could not take it anymore.  I quietly got out of bed and closed the door to the bedroom so my husband could sleep.  My head had been filled with headlines and they were beginning to run into each other creating confusion and chaos.  Much like what is happening in our world today.

The biggest headline of the last few days has been about a dirty old man in Congress who thinks it is okay to be a dirty old man in Congress.  As he gave his press conference about this matter, I felt as if I was watching a rerun of President Clinton when he looked in the camera one evening years ago and proclaimed to the world, “I did not have sex with that woman.”

We knew he was lying but we had to endure his arrogance about his perversion in the Oval office.   And the irony of this week’s headline is:  President Clinton officiated the marriage ceremony of the dirty old man to a now humiliated pregnant wife a few months ago.   Mr. Weiner learned a lot from President Clinton and it wasn’t all about Democratic strategy.

There is a lot of laughter about this headline along with a lot of off-color jokes.  We laugh at them because with a name like Weiner and his photos to match, you just can’t help yourself.  Reality is…this is not a laughing matter and…

They’re cheating on US

This illicit behavior by our “leaders” is becoming an everyday headline.  The big tough guy, Arnold, disappointed us when he admitted his 10 year lie to his wife, his family and to his followers.  This was a “doozie of a lie” and included the words “Surprise, I had an affair and I’m the father of a 10 year old son.”   After admitting such a head-spinning story, he proceeded to move out in the public arena planning his next movie as if that was okay and no big deal about the lie.  A small black-lash happened and he has gone radio silent for a while.  Don’t worry, however, “he’ll be back” and…

They’re cheating on US

Then we have Mr. Edwards.  The slick ambulance chasing attorney from North Carolina who ran for President was indicted this week for using campaign money to hide his affair and love child from his now deceased wife.  Mrs. Edwards battled breast cancer and treatments which kept her hugging a toilet from the side effects.  All the while her ambulance chasing husband was chasing a campaign worker and meeting up with her in hotel rooms to take the “pressure” off a tough campaign.  Poor Mr. Edwards – his wife hugs a toilet while he hugs a mistress.  And to top it off, Mrs. Edwards finds out about a love child from this meet up and has to endure rejection and humiliation while battling the cancer that finally took her life.  The good news here – Mrs. Edwards told Mr. Edwards “I’m done” and left him.  She finally was able to find some peace in her life before she died and…

They’re cheating on US

We haven’t heard of any illicit sexual encounters with President Obama yet but he’s playing games too.  His golf game is getting pretty good.  His trips abroad with his entourage of 500 people or more reflect more of a rock star than a President.  He’s toasting world leaders and drinking champagne while eating roast duck.  And back home the American people are counting coins to purchase gas and pay their light bills.  Unemployment is rising and Mr. President “poo-poos” our concerns and tells us to hold on – “he’ll be right back to fix this after he takes another trip abroad or gets in another 18 holes ” and…

They’re cheating on US

All these headlines of today took me back to history classes of long ago.  I kept thinking of Nero and the great fire that consumed Rome and destroyed most of it.  The headline could easily have read:  “For six days and seven nights, citizens watch helplessly as Rome burns.”

Rumor had it that the great fire was set by Nero and his men so it could be rebuilt to his liking.  Nero instead blamed the Christians.  He persecuted, tortured and executed them in the city square.  The citizens did not buy into this belief and continued to blame Nero for the fire.

How ironic that “Nero” is here again.  Our headlines and theirs are similar.  Ultimately, the great fire helped bring Nero down.  Roman citizens became discontented with his reign, his army threatened mutiny and he was declared a public enemy by the Senate.

The American people are also discontented with the reign of immoral, corrupt and dirty old men politicans.  Citizens have grown weary of the persecution of others and want our leaders to take responsibility for their actions instead of using the “blame-game.”

Two thousand years later, people are still hungry for moral leaders who love the people and are there to serve them instead of their own voracious appetites of greed, lust and power.

It’s now 4:45 AM and I am sure sleep will not come until we clean house in DC or anywhere else government officials are playing games and snapping pictures of their “wieners” instead of doing their job.

They need to stop fiddling around.  America is burning and Americans are burning mad!

We have a message for those who want to be our leaders.  We’re on to you and your immoral compass has been exposed.  We’re sick to death of this stuff.  We’ve had enough.  We’ve been scorned and your cheating on the American citizens is going to tell on you at the polls.  We hope you lose sleep over this declaration – ‘cause we’ve been losing sleep under your "leadership."

Weiner is the poster boy for the Democratic politician. The whole philosophy of the progressive movement is a lie and they have to lie to implement it. They know it's a lie, we know it's a lie, and they know that we know it's a lie. Still they do it. Devoid of religion, unrestricted by morals, scruples & ethics, they are about amassing power to control the unwashed masses.  Our whole value sytem is held in contempt by these arrogant self serving degenerants. The fact he does not resign shows his utter disregard for the people he is serving. He is not much different than the rest of them, just the last to get caught. God help us.

It is apparent by their actions, not their words, that the current administration and people in power in Washington have no intention of doing the things necessary for the economy to recover and for America to prosper.

Read on.....

 MARTIN FELDSTEIN

The policies of the Obama administration have led to the weak condition of the American economy. Growth during the coming year will be subpar at best, leaving high or rising levels of unemployment and underemployment.

The drop in GDP growth to just 1.8% in the first quarter of 2011, from 3.1% in the final quarter of last year, understates the extent of the decline. Two-thirds of that 1.8% went into business inventories rather than sales to consumers or other final buyers. This means that final sales growth was at an annual rate of just 0.6% and the actual quarterly increase was just 0.15%—dangerously close to no rise at all. A sustained expansion cannot be built on inventory investment. It takes final sales to induce businesses to hire and to invest.

The picture is even gloomier if we look in more detail. Estimates of monthly GDP indicate that the only growth in the first quarter of 2011 was from February to March. After a temporary rise in March, the economy began sliding again in April, with declines in real wages, in durable-goods orders and manufacturing production, in existing home sales, and in real per-capita disposable incomes. It is not surprising that the index of leading indicators fell in April, only the second decline since it began to rise in the spring of 2009.

Chad Crowe

The data for May are beginning to arrive and are even worse than April's. They are marked by a collapse in payroll-employment gains; a higher unemployment rate; manufacturers' reports of slower orders and production; weak chain-store sales; and a sharp drop in consumer confidence.

How has the Obama administration contributed to this failure to achieve a robust and sustainable recovery?

The administration's most obvious failure was its misguided fiscal policies: the cash-for-clunkers subsidy for car buyers, the tax credit for first-time home buyers, and the $830 billion "stimulus" package. Cash-for-clunkers gave a temporary boost to motor-vehicle production but had no lasting impact on the economy. The home-buyer credit stimulated the demand for homes only temporarily.

As for the "stimulus" package, both its size and structure were inadequate to offset the enormous decline in aggregate demand. The fall in household wealth by the end of 2008 reduced the annual level of consumer spending by more than $500 billion. The drop in home building subtracted another $200 billion from GDP. The total GDP shortfall was therefore more than $700 billion. The Obama stimulus package that started at less than $300 billion in 2009 and reached a maximum of $400 billion in 2010 wouldn't have been big enough to fill the $700 billion annual GDP gap even if every dollar of the stimulus raised GDP by a dollar.

In fact, each dollar of extra deficit added much less than a dollar to GDP. Experience shows that the most cost-effective form of temporary fiscal stimulus is direct government spending. The most obvious way to achieve that in 2009 was to repair and replace the military equipment used in Iraq and Afghanistan that would otherwise have to be done in the future. But the Obama stimulus had nothing for the Defense Department. Instead, President Obama allowed the Democratic leadership in Congress to design a hodgepodge package of transfers to state and local governments, increased transfers to individuals, temporary tax cuts for lower-income taxpayers, etc. So we got a bigger deficit without economic growth.

A second cause of the continued economic weakness is the president's emphasis on increasing tax rates. Although Mr. Obama grudgingly agreed to continue the Bush tax cuts for 2011 and 2012, his budget this year repeated his call for higher tax rates on upper-income individuals and multinational corporations. With that higher-tax cloud hanging over them, it is not surprising that individuals and businesses do not make the entrepreneurial investments and business expansions that would cause a solid recovery.

A third problem stems from the administration's lack of an explicit plan to deal with future budget deficits and with the exploding national debt. This creates uncertainty about future tax increases and interest rates that impedes spending by households and investment by businesses. The national debt has jumped to 69% of GDP this year, from 40% in 2008. It is projected by the Congressional Budget Office to reach more than 85% by the end of the decade, and to keep rising after that. The reality is even worse since ObamaCare alone will cost more than $1 trillion in its first 10 years. The president's boast that his health legislation would not "add a dime" to the national debt was possible only by combining that increased spending with proposed new taxes and with projected cuts in Medicare spending that will never occur.

Finally, there is the administration's incoherent position on the international value of the dollar. The Treasury repeats the slogan that "a strong dollar is good for America" while watching the real value of the dollar fall by 7% over the past year, and while urging the Chinese to allow the dollar to fall more quickly relative to the yuan. The lack of a consistent dollar policy adds to the uncertainty that limits business investment and hiring.

The economy will continue to suffer until there is a coherent and favorable economic policy. That means bringing long-term deficits under control without raising marginal tax rates—by cutting government outlays and by limiting the tax expenditures that substitute for direct government spending. It means lower tax rates on businesses and individuals to spur entrepreneurship and investment. And it means reforming Social Security and Medicare to protect the living standards of future retirees while limiting the cost to future taxpayers.

All of these things are doable. But the Obama administration has not done them and shows no inclination to do them in the future.

Speaking of George Soros:

Soros advises Obama to use forceful measures to override the will of the people

By Ed Lasky for American Thinker

George Soros funds the Center for American Progress, which has been characterized as Barack Obama’s Ideas Factory. John Podesta, its head, led the transition team when Barack Obama became President. The Center has also become a hiring hall for the Obama team, filling its positions with former employees (among these was controversial Van Jones — who now is back at the Center).

Apparently, George Soros and his Center are upset that the American people placed a roadblock in their plans when we rose up and painted the nation red. The Center now is providing a blueprint of ways Barack Obama can do an end run around the people’s will by resorting to methods that will strike many of us as being improper-to say the least. Relying on executive orders, interpretation of regulations, rule -making and the like they are collectively a recipe for even more power being assumed by President Obama.

From Tuesday’s Politico Playbook:

[The] Center for American Progress today is releasing a report, “Power of the President,” proposing 30 executive actions the president can take to advance progressive change in the areas of energy, the economy, health care, education, foreign policy, and national security. “The following authorities can be used to ensure progress on key issues facing the country today: Executive orders, Rulemaking, Agency management, Convening and creating public-private partnerships , Commanding the armed forces, Diplomacy.

The New York Times fleshes out these proposals with some suggestions about policy changes across the board. The ideology of George Soros shines through the Center’s report as it justifies this forceful approach to circumvent Congress when it states that:

[The] legislative battles that Mr. Obama waged during his first two years – notably on health care and financial regulatory reform – have created a weariness among the general public with the process of making laws. And it hints it has not helped Mr. Obama politically in the process.

In other words, when Congress passed a variety of laws Americans became dismayed by the horse-trading and bribes that were resorted to by Democrats to impose these policies on us. Instead of compromise and listening to the American people, Soros counsels that more forceful measures should be used to override the will of the American people.

And this is the man the Democratic Party has as their sugar daddy and who various Democratic leaders over the years have defended and praised (for example, as shown by this letter from 11 Democratic lawmakers).

He is certainly a dictatorial daddy.

“He therefore is the truest friend of the liberty of this country who tries most to promote its virtue, and who, so far as his power and influence extend, will not suffer a man to be chosen into any office of power and trust who is not a wise and virtuous man…The sum of all is, if we would most truly enjoy this gift of Heaven, let us become a virtuous people.”

Great article Billie.  What we need is for citizens to write, demand legislation to put in place the means to oust these perverts and elect (maybe) rep's that r not perverts.  Just keep in the in and out going till a decent human being is elected and serves without abusing our tax dollars for their perversions.

Billie,

What a brilliant comparision of the state of America!  I hope this circulates to every leader and pray the lord will continue to shine light on their evil ways and begin to convict them for their actions.   I pray for godly men of character to stand up and run for office and that the eyes of American's every where are opened to the reality we can not remain a republic without our Judeo Christian values...just as our founders and signers of that great document on July 4th articulated.

I pray we, in this movement begin to APPLY FIRM AND LOVING PRESSURE on our CHURCH LEADERS to be more vocal and active in the poltical sphere, as the where during our founding and, which is a GOD given Duty.

When we as Christian do not take a stand and place godly men in office it leaves a void.... one which will be filled.   As so eloquently stated in this blog...... Often with darkness and evil, rather than light and goodness.  Instead of moral and courageous leaders we get corrupt and self serving leaders.

Apathy, Politcal Correctness, and misguided Tolerance and understanding of our founding CHRISTIAN LEADER, by our currtent Church Leaders and most in the pews has allowed America to reach a state of debachery as never experience in our great history.

We are at the precipice.....  As influential as the TEA Party Movement has been in effecting change.... we can not do it in "2012" without the God ......AND....  AND.... AND.... the CHURCH standing and ACTING as Christians and doing our Christian DUTY!     Because we are in spiritual warfare between good and evil.... we have seeing the effects of the absense of Salt and Light!

Let us embark on a campaign to be bold in our OUTREACH to our local churches cause a spritual awakening to our true heritage and nature starting today!!!!!

God Bless you for leadership!

Lets don’t forget Newt Gingrich.  A draft dodger that has been married three times. He first married Jackie Battley, his former high school geometry teacher, when he was 19 years old, and she was 26 years old. They had two daughters. The couple decided to divorce after Gingrich told his wife of his extra-marital affair while she was recovering from cancer surgery In 1981, six months after his divorce was final, Gingrich wed Marianne Ginther. He remained married to Ginther until 2000, when they divorced. Shortly after his second divorce, Gingrich married Callista Bisek, who is 23 years his junior. He began his relationship with Bisek while he was still married to his second wife. Ironically, this extramarital affair started during the Congressional investigation of Bill Clinton's perjury relating to his affair with 23-year-old intern, Monica Lewinsky, which led to Clinton's impeachment.
Gingrich also had 84 indictments against him, and now he wants to run for President in 2012. ha ha!!

George Soros, one of "them" has said," The main obstacle to a stable and just one world order is the United States."

So apparently they want a "stable and just one world order", and to get it, it is necessary to diminish the influence of the U.S. in the world. The way to do that is to make the U.S. weaker. To do this, they sabotage the ability of the U.S. to be prosperous and affluent. If the U.S. is weak economically and financially, it will be weak militarily and in other ways. It's diplomatic influence and economic clout will be diminished.

If our leaders want this, they should say so and let's have the open debate and let the voters decide. But, they do not do this for obvious reasons. They conceal their intentions and deceive us. We vote with the natural assumption that these people have the best interests of the American people first and foremost, but I am afraid that this is not the case. They have another agenda.

Billie, you are right on.  I believe you and all of out fellow Tea Party folks would enjoy listening to Dr. Manning's interview with Rev. Rick Wiles.  We are truly in perilous times.
